EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Dec 10: Social activist Tajinder Singh has urged to Delimitation Commission to make a way in delimitation commission to reserve two constituencies in J&K UT for 1947 DPs from POJK out of 7 increased assembly seats for the time being.
He said that the arrangement can be made till reorganization act of 2019 is reviewed and amended accordingly to defreeze DPs share of eight seats out of remaining 24 reserved for the people of POJK as the same have been captivated again without any reason and justification .
Singh said that delimitation has set up to re demarcate the assembly constituencies in J&k UT to give proper representation to all sections of society to represent their aspirations.
While expressing his concern Tajinder said that despite of several representations made by DPs in this regard, no feedback has been taken from DPs yet.
Tajinder said that DPs are crying since their migration to defreeze their share of seats out of 25 to allow them to represent their people, so that they could raise their voice with regard to their settlement which is incomplete and awfully insufficient but unfortunately the erstwhile state and central government having negative approach paid no sincere heed towards this human problem..
