JKNPP Supremo urges President to restore statehood of J&K

Jammu, Dec 10: “Jammu and Kashmir has been passing an era which India had undergone in 1975 under emergency in the country. There are no fundamental rights available to the citizens of India residing in J&K and there is no rule of law since August 5, 2019, the day state of J&K was declared in two Union Territories, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh”. A representation was dispatched from Prof.Bhim Singh, a Sr. Advocate & Chief Patron of Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party, recognized by Election Commission of India to the President of India, Ramnath Kovind urging to restore the statehood of J&K which was founded by Dogra Maharaja in 1846 as a state of J&K. The famous Dogra General Zorawar Singh and Baaz Singh with highly smart Dogra Army integrated Gilgit & Baltistan and some areas in the eastern sector of Ladakh. NPP Supremo who is also Executive Chairman of State Legal Aid Committee, J&K (Regd.) urged the President of India to direct the Union government to restore the statehood of J&K without any delay and allow IIIrd Intra J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ Talk anywhere in India. The Ist and IInd Heart to Heart Talks were initiated and organized by Prof. Bhim Singh with the consent and approval of Govt. of India headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2005 & 2007. More than 50 senior leaders from different political parties including legislators from POK and Gilgit participated in the ‘Heart to Heart’ conference. Dr. Manmohan Singh, the then Prime Minister of India invited the participants from POK and Gilgit on tea and Dr. Karan Singh had invited them on lunch.
