One day long District Jammu Wrestling C’ship concludes

Jammu, Dec 12: One day long District Jammu Wrestling Championship-2020 concluded toady on 12th of December 2020 at Gulshan Ground Jammu under the banner of J&K Wrestling Association ( an affiliated unit with Wrestling Federation of India, J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association).
All Wrestlers of District Jammu took part in the championship. The winner wrestlers of their respective Weight categories shall be take part in J&K UT level Championship, being conducted at Jammu very shortly.
The J&K Wrestling Association have expressed their gratitude to Sh. A.K Choudhary-IPS, ADGP Armed J&K for providing logistic support and all help and cooperation, due to which the event was conducted smoothly and successfully.
Besides, Shri Dushyant Sharma-SSP Staff Officer (Sports) APHQ, Shri Mushtaq Ahmed-Dy.SP Sports (APHQ), Inspector Kuldeep Handoo, Sports Officer (Dronacharya Awardeee) Inspector Sharat Chander Singh, Sh. Vijay Pahalwan Ji, Sh. Om Parkash-Coach J&K Police Wrestlitng Team, Sh. Ravinder Sharma-Referee, and following other members were present in the championship.

57 KG:- Ajit Malhotra-Gold, Neeraj Singh-Silver and Rahul Singh- Bronze Medal, 65KG:- Sunny Sharma-Gold, Rohit Singh-Silver and Vipan Kaith-Bronze Medal, 70KG:- Sachin Saini-Gold, Iqbal Mohd-Silver and Sharief Hussain-Bronze Medal, 74KG:- Muneer Hussain-Gold, Sukhwinder Singh-Silver and Arif Khan-Bronze Medal, 79KG:- Munir Ahmed-Gold, Sushil Singh-Silver and Mohd. Hussain-Bronze Medal, 86 KG:- Zulfakar Ali-Gold, Shakeel Khan-Silver and Sawar-Bronze Medal, 92KG:- Bahadur Khan-Gold, Stiphen Lidher-Silver and Sachin Mehra-Bronze Medal, 97KG:- Javid Khan-Gold, Vireshwar Bhardwaj-Silver and Saifo-Bronze Medal, 125KG:- Ishaq Ahmed-Gold, Liyakat Ali-Silver and Radhay Krishan-Bronze Medal.
