Mankotia disrespected women, must apologise unconditionally: Raman Suri

JAMMU, Dec 12: Expressing his shock over the statement of Panthers Party leader Balwant Singh Mankotia wherein he uttered derogatory remarks about a women leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, Raman Suri BJP J&K Executive Member sought an unconditional apology from the Panther's Party leader and said that such remarks have hurt the sentiments of people and should not be used even by adversaries.
Raman Suri said, Mankotia being a senior leader should mind his language and respect women, even it they belong to an opponent party. While campaigning, politicians speak a lot about their rivals, but using such a language wherein women are disrespected and shown in low-esteem can not be tolerated. He asked Panthers Party and Mankotia to apologise unconditionally and never use such words again.
The BJP leader said that what Panthers Party leader said is not against one particular BJP leader, but it is against the entire women folk. He must remember that he is born to a women and should learn to respect motherhood, sisters and our daughters. If Mankotia doesn't seek an apology, then police must register a case of defamation against him for using derogatory and unparliamentary language against a respectable woman leader.
Raman Suri, while taking strong exception of Panthers Party leader's remarks, urged the Election Commission of India to cancel their party's registration and ban such goons who lack even minimum basic manners and have no control over their languages. Women in India and across the world are respected. Indians put women in high esteem and even worship them as Goddess.
Such remarks, he said, don't go in line with our culture and ethics. We strongly condemn this and seek an action against the NPP leader. Women across the state have been hurt and have even protested against the leader, who shamelessly hid himself, and instead of seeking an apology has become adamant.
