Jammu, Dec 14: The Department of Electrical Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized an International Webinar on “Printed Circuit Board Design (PCB DESIGN)” for 5th and 7th sem Electrical Engineering and Computer Science students on 13th Dec.,20.
A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non conductive substrate. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Periyasamy Muthu, Associate Engineer at Trio International, Singapore. The session began with welcome address by Er. Loveneesh Talwar, HoD (Electrical Engineering). Prof. Periyasamy Muthu is an expert in the field of PCB Designing. He briefed the students about PCB manufacturing process, Evolution of Circuit Boards, Testing of PCB, How to burn in system?, Types of Burn in Testing, Trends in PCB, and the Challenges in PCB. The students were fortunate to have the chance to attend this webinar for increasing their knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert regarding the concerned field. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts of the organizing webinar, YCET for getting the best out these opportunities, which are being provided under the well wishes of the YCET Management.
