| Man clicks pic of stamped ballot paper, makes it viral on social media | | |  ASHWANI SHARMA

UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: Believe it or not! In an open violation of the polling guidelines a man has clicked a picture of the ballot paper on his cell phone after putting the stamp on the candidate of his choice and then put the ballot paper into the ballot box.
The incident took place in a polling station in Jaganoo area of Udhampur district where the polling was going on under the strict vigilance and even media cameras were not allowed in the voting room.
Not only this, the man also made the photograph viral on social media showing that he has voted for Panthers Party candidate in the sixth phase of ongoing District Development Council elections which are being held in newly formed Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
“How can such violations are possible if the officials were performing their duties properly,” one of the college students said while making a comment on social media. There were many likes and comments both in favour and against the picture on social media. |
