Civil Defence organizes One day awareness programme

JAMMU, Dec 23: One day awareness programme was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu at Mandal Phallan, Nikki Tawi, Jammu. In the awareness camp the students were given the knowledge of First Aid (CPR, Chocking, and Emergency Methods).
Col. Som Nath, Sarpanch, Mandal Phallan highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and requested to conduct such awareness programmes in future also. Sh. Santokh Singh Chib State President, Modi Army was also present on this occasion. Atleast 100 Civilians including Anganwari Workers as well as Panch and Sarpanchs of the adjoining area have attended the Awareness Programme.
The main aim of the awareness programme is to facilitate the civilians with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence and importance of First Aid (CPR, Chocking, and Emergency Methods), Fire Fighting etc. In addition to above participants have also aware about the various Govt. Schemes and ask them to adopt preventive measures for spreading of Covid - 19. Sh. Parmjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu and I/C Training ASI Ram Dayal Saini of RCDCC Jammu were also present on the occasion.
