Poonch, Dec 23: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has received severe setback in Poonch and Rajouri districts in DDC elections with no seat in Poonch where it got only 2-3 seats in Rajouri.
The people of these twin districts have outrightly rejected the BJP's agenda of development.
They alleged that the BJP has ignored the development aspect in these districts.
"The BJP made biggest joke with the people in the name of Back to Village (B2V), but nothing was done despite conducting this programme three times", they said.
The resentment among people against BJP was clear which can gauged from the fact to try to that despite presence of star campaigners from centre government, party performed poorly.
As far as arrangements of district administration Poonch are concerned, serious violations were seen during countings. |
