Jammu, Dec 26: Civil Defence Camp of 5 days C.D Training was Concluded at Panchayat Ghar, Mandal Phallan. During the Training 80 Civil Defence Volunteers who are the residents of the area have been imparted the techniques of First Aid, CPR, Fire Fighting and conduct of rescue operations during any disaster/eventuality. The training was carried on under the close supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. Speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlights the importance and role of Civil Defence in the human life and also stressed upon the motto of the Civil Defence i.e, selfless services of C. D Volunteer to the nation as and when required. However participants have also aware about the various Govt. Schemes and ask them to adopt preventive measures for spreading of COVID – 19.
Col. Som Nath, Sarpanch, Mandal Phallan appreciated the initiative taken by the Civil Defence organization in enlightening the local residents, First Responder to any disaster, with regard to the techniques of First Aid, CPR, Fire Fighting and conduct of rescue operations during any disaster/eventuality.
