BJP leaders in Kashmir mislead high command again
Project winning 3 DDC seats in Valley as big achievement
12/27/2020 12:14:11 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 26: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders are boasting that the party has made debut in Kashmir by winning three DDC seats and it’s a big achievement for the saffron party. By doing so they are trying to put a lid over their failure to make inroads into the Valley.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “The BJP leaders in the Valley were claiming that party enjoys lot of support even in the bastions of the Kashmir centric parties and winning good number of seats in DDC polls will be a cakewalk for the party but all these claims stand punctured.”
He said, “The BJP leaders in Kashmir misled the party high command by claiming that they have succeeded in breaking the ice and the party will prove its mettle in the DDC elections. There is no doubt about the fact that the BJP has emerged as a single largest party in the recently held DDC polls by winning more than 75 seats but the party has won most of the seats in Jammu region.” “The dismal performance of the party in Kashmir should serve as an eye opener for the BJP leaders who just keep on talking about Kashmir and term the region as the party’s priority,” the analyst added.
He said, “This is not for the first time that the BJP leaders in Kashmir have misled their people sitting in the national capital. It happened when the assembly elections were held in J&K and then again when the parliamentary polls were conducted. That time also the BJP leaders in Kashmir had claimed that party has succeeded in enrolling lakhs of members into the party fold. But the results of these elections has once again proved that these leaders were lying.”
An observer said, “The BJP high command needs to a serious note about the wrong feedback being provided by the Kashmir based leaders and should act against them as they have been unable to deliver.”
