Talent hunt “Shaurya” announced

Jammu, Jan 1: Mausiqui Studios, Mumbai-based music and talent promotion organisation today announced the launch of Jammu & Kashmir’s biggest ever talent hunt.
Shaurya – the music-based talent hunt was announced by renowned Jammu-Kashmiri music exponents Shri Naseem Ul-Haq, Smt Shazia Bashir, Akshay Asthana and Raashid Zaffar Doodwal of Mausiqui Studios, amongst others at a press conference in Jammu today.
Shaurya is a musical talent hunt that has been conceptualised and organised by Mausiqui Studios with active support from the local administrations and renowned Bollywood celebrities and legends like Sukhwinder Singh and Dilshaad Shabbir Shaikh.
Sharing the genesis of the event concept Akshay Asthana, founder of Mausiqui Studios said, “during my recent visits to the region, I chanced across various musical talents, and they intrigued me a lot. And yet, there was no opportunity for these talents to showcase their capabilities. Mausiqui Studios will provide a national and international platform to these talents and connect them to the music aficionados all over the world. Who knows, we may unearth a future musical celebrity from the region who will mesmerise and enthral the entire world!”
Mausiqui Studios has lined up a repertoire of extremely talented and renowned musical experts to judge the budding talents – Sukhwinder Singh (internationally acclaimed Indian playback singer), Naseem-ul-Haq (renowned J&K singer and music composer), Dilshad Shaikh (music composer, and person behind hits like 'Rang De Basanti', 'Blue’ and 'Kisna’ and Shazia Bashir (J&K-based Sufi, Ghazal, and light classical music exponent).
The auditions will happen from 1 - 11 Jan, and the final performance will happen on 18 Jan in Srinagar in which the winning talents will perform with Sukhwinder Singh.
