Jammu, Jan 1: On a very First day of New Year 2021, Traffic Police Jammu today hold a Unique exercise to spread Traffic awareness which saw its personnel offering Roses to Law-Abiding Motorists.
“Traffic Police Jammu launched a campaign through the thoughtful gesture of offering Red Roses to law-abiding commuters at Nagrota, Janipur, Talab Tillo, Bus Stand, Satwari, Bikram Chowk, Trikuta Nagar, Narwal, Old City Areas, etc” said ASP Traffic Jammu Sh Pardeep Singh Gouria-JKPS.
“The campaign was launched on the directions of SSP Traffic Jammu Sh Shiv Kumar Sharma-JKPS with the objective of enhancing road safety and awareness about Rules and Regulations among the general public.
In Yet another example of this unique exercise, The City Traffic Police also offered 'Roses' to those people who were found violating Traffic Rules and asked them not to repeat the mistake again.
"The idea was to inculcate and embed the sense of responsibility to follow Traffic Rules among citizens, who after so much of challan drive have still not learn to abide the Traffic Rules", Said SSP Traffic Jammu, Sh Shiv Kumar Sharma.
