Udhampur, Jan 4: Judicial Employees Welfare Association J&K (JEWA) has hailed the appointment of Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal as Chief Justice Jammu and Kashmir High Court in view of the retirement of Chief Justice Gita Mittal earlier this month.
State President JEWA Mangat Ram Parihar hailed the appointment Chief justice and said that it is good for the Jammu and Kashmir to have a good, sensible Justice appointed as chief justice of J&K High Court. He assured full cooperation on behalf of the employees of subordinate judiciary and said that employees will work with honesty and full dedication under new chief justice so that justice could be brought at the door steps of common masses .
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha administer oath to Justice Pankaj Mithal as Chief Justice of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh here on Monday. Those who hailed the appointment of chief justice included Ranjit Parihar, T.N Pandita, Puran Singh, Jatinder Paul Singh, Sudershan Sharma, Ghulam Sugra, Ramneek Sharma , Brij Lal , R.K Rakwal Anshu Sharma, Shehnaz Kousar, Omar Mattoo and others. |
