UDHAMPUR, Feb 6: Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ashok Kumar, today conducted an extensive tour of Block Khoon and inspected the ongoing development works.
The ADDC inspected the MGNREGA, 14th FC, PMAY (G), and SBM (G) works and asked the Block Development Officer to complete all the SOS works on priority.
The ADDC also interacted with PRIs and general public and listened to their grievances and assured resolution of their genuine grievances on priority. He said that the main objective of conducting this visit was to review the progress of implementation of developmental schemes and their impact on the ground level. He called for close synergy and cooperation between executing agencies and PRIs. Public feedback on developmental works and implementation of schemes in respective areas was also obtained and timelines set for various works.
The ADDC also stressed on completion of PMAY houses in the block and asked the BDO to facilitate the beneficiaries in completion of their houses. He asked BDO to submit a weekly report about the progress of ongoing works and new works started, and estimates prepared. He also stressed on quality of work and involvement of PRIs in monitoring the works. Among others, Executive Engineer Rew, Bashir Sheikh, and other Officers/Officials of concerned departments, besides Public representatives were accompanying the ADDC. |
