| Dy Mayor visits Ward No 12 | | | | JAMMU, Feb 18: Deputy Mayor JMC conducted extensive tour of area near Shiv Shakti Jangaam Temple in Ward No 12. The inspection was mainly conducted on the complaints of the devotees and locals brought into the notice of the Deputy Mayor JMC Purnima Sharma through Mahant Rajesh Bittu. During the inspection, many issues were brought to light by the locals of the area and the devotees who used to visit the temple. The main issue which was noted that the drain on the opposite side of the temple was damaged due to which the houses adjoining the drain are also getting damaged. It was also brought into the notice of the Deputy Mayor that many times the drain being damaged gets over flowed as a result the dirty water and garbage gets spread in the lane due which nuisance is caused among the locals as well as devotees. Taking all this into consideration, Purnima Sharma on spot directed the concerned Executive Engineer JMC and AEE to form the estimates for the repair and covering of drains, so that no further damaged to property as well as sentiments of the devotees may occur. |
