| Director Colleges inaugurates Add on Course in GCOE, Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 18: Director Colleges Mohd Yousaf Peerzada today inaugurated Add on Skill Course i.e. Soft skills and Personality Development. The event was done under the patronage of the Department of Higher Education in Govt College of Education (GCOE), Canal Road, Jammu. The programme is an initiative by the Higher Education Department to train the students in potential skills to grab jobs in future and raise an affluent future generation.
Dr Kulwinder Kour, Principal GCOE welcomed and thanked all the participants for their time and assured to render all support to this programme organized by the Higher Education Department. She said that the students have the calibre in them but it needs to be nurtured and brought out with the right guidance.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included Mohd. Yousaf Peerzada, Director, spoke extensively about this initiative taken by the Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education Department Talat Parvez Rohella for the benefit of our youth and building a progressive future society with higher levels of intellect and skills. Also present on the occasion were the training partners of this initiative Dr Nelika, Dr Javaid and Dr Shahid from the Central University of Jammu.
Prof Jaya Bhasin, Project Director and Dean Central University of Jammu, Principals and students of GDC, Doda and GDC, Thanamandi were also connected in the program through virtual mode. |
