The International Women’s Day is celebrated on every 8 march every year to observe women’s success and part in cultural, political, social and economic development. It is also acknowledged to make people aware of women’s rights and gender equality.
The story behind the date was that in 1917 on same date woman gained suffrage in Soviet Russia. Later, this day became a national then it was used to be celebrated by the communist countries and the socialists movement. After that in 1977 UN recognized the day and further celebrated as International Women’s Day. It offers an opportunity to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
International women’s Day is a day where everyone appreciates everything that the women in their lives do. It’s a day when everyone acknowledges the value and importance of women in their lives— of women in the world is immense.
The theme of International Women’s Day 2021 is ‘Choose To Challenge’. This states that the women are responsible for their own thoughts and actions everyday and they challenge the world everyday. The theme further signifies that women can choose to challenge gender bias and inequality in the world. People need to celebrate women’s achievements and also make world a better place to live in with equality.
In some countries where women are not treated equally and they think women are for household chores. The world is moving towards achieving gender balance. It’s moving towards equality for both men and women. The change is something that is needed and is essential. For ages, men have had more privileges in every sphere of society. However, that needs to change because we are all humans, and we should all get equal rights and opportunities.
In countries where women have given equal rights , the society don’t let them to take decision according to their choice . We belong from a stereotypes society where men always say we give equal rights and opportunity to women but along with that they have a problem or inferiority complex in working under a women. Our society have two faces in which man don’t want to work under a female boss but sametime they want their daughter or wife to be a boss of others.
Its a sad but true face of society where woman is woman’s enemy. If a women is trying to achieve something maximum hurdles are put in the path of her success in the form of society obligations like girls don’t compete with boys, you will be abused by others etc. After that she achieved something they will say she has done something or if a girl comes from any well to do family then everyone say she has done this by the using contacts or money of her father.
We never give a smooth life to women . Anything happened to women , according to our society the mistake was her. If she got molested , her mistake was that she would be wearing short clothes, she got divorced then she would be characterless or torched her husband and his family, she is having male friend definitely. She is slut and many other cases where women judged.
Women are treated in terms of stereotyped impressions of being the lowest class and greater evidence can be found that there are large disparities between the women and the men ‘s class. It can be seen that women are more likely to play casual roles as they are most likely to take seasonal and part time work so that they can work according to their needs. They are hampered from progressing upward into the organizations as they face problems like lack of health insurance, sexual harassments, lower wage rates, gender biases and attitudes of negative behavior. However, this wouldn’t have hampered the participation of the women in the work force and they continue to increase their efforts which is highly evident in the occupational and job ratios of females in the industry.
I know many cases where women rights have been used wrongly against many innocent man.
As we know charity begins at home . So we have to take pledge this women’s day we will never judge other women and her decision and also we respect them. Man in our home or circles we will try to. overcome their inferiority complex regarding their women.
