| RM Public School celebrates Mahashivratri | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 10: To feel the verve of festival R M Public School celebrated Mahashivratri with great enthusiasm, religious fervour, full devotion and sanctity in its premises. The day marks a remembrance of overcoming darkness and ignorance. The program was hosted by Anju Choudhary. The students as well as the staff initiated the occasion by offering prayers to Lord Shiva and family. The celebration started with the lightning of lamp. Director Rakshan Mengi, Principal Dr. Shuchita Gupta, Incharges, Coordinators and the staff members present on the occasion were filled with the spiritual fervour. Shilpi Borha (Dance Teacher) presented Shiv Tandav. Group song with the chanting of hymns to venerate the Lord Shiva was performed by class 6th students. Solo song 'Teri Panah Mei' was performed by Aradhya Jasrotia of class 6th. Cultural program was concluded with Maha Mritunjan Jaap. The program concluded with the address by the Director and Principal. They applauded the staff and students for their efforts to make everyone spiritually energized and enlightened and wished that many more functions like this will be performed in R.M.P.S. Langar was also organized by the staff members and administration of the school. |
