JAMMU, Mar 10: Kavita Sharma, NSS Volunteer of Govt Degree College Ramnagar, brought laurels to the college by securing third prize in declamation competition organized in the observance of One Day Human Right Session in NSS special camp in collaboration with NHRC (National Human Rights Commission) on 09-03-21 in the department of Computer Science and I.T, University of Jammu. She was awarded with the cash prize of Rs 1400/ along with the certificate. Except her, three more NSS volunteers of the college participated in the competition namely Vidhushi Dhiman, Rahaat Amaan and Priyanka. All the participants were awarded with the certificate of participation, NSS caps and note pads. Around 50 participants participated from various colleges and various departments of Jammu University.
Principal GDC Ramnagar, Dr Udhey Bhanu and NSS Programme Officer Prof Ritika Mahajan congratulated the volunteers and Dr Udhey Bhanu, Principal of the college, Prof Suresh Kumar Dogra, Prof Brinder Kumar and Prof Aditya Sahrma motivated the volunteers to participate in such events in future also. |
