Delegation of Baba Amarnath, Buda Amarnath yatri Niyas meets Nitishwar Kumar, CEO SASB

JAMMU, Mar .10 : A delegation of Baba Amarnath & Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas called on Nitishwar Kumar Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board/ Principal Secretary to lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhawan Jammu, and apprised him about the upcoming Shri Amarnath and Budha Amarnath Yatra . They also handed over a memorandum addressed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. A thread bear discussion was held on some points related to Amarnath Yatra 2021 which includes, yatra dates, Pratham Pooja on auspicious day of Jayashtha Purnima, which is falling on 24th, June 2021, medical facilities, langar issues, safety and security of pilgrims. The delegation also suggested some measures which will be beneficial for the smooth conduct of the Yatra includes Battery car service for the pilgrims from Baltal to Domail. Niyas also demanded construction of permanent structures for felicitation of pilgrims in all the 8 districts enroute right from Lakhanpur to Pahalgam and Baltal. A memorandum in the shape of suggestions addressed to Hon'ble L.G was handed over to CEO SASB and requested that these points may kindly be tabled in the coming Shri Amarnath ji Shrine Board meeting for kind consideration. The delegation was led by Pawan Kumar Kohli President and comprises of Sh.Karan Singh Charak Sr.Vice President, Sh.Shakti Dutt Vice President and Sh.Sudershan Khajuria General Secretary Niyas. The meeting was held in a cordial manner and CEO assured the delegation that all relevant points will be considered. Additional CEO Anup Soni and other officials were also present in the meeting.
