Jammu, Apr 2: The officials and employees of Agriculture Department today hoisted national flag over the building of Agriculture Extension Office (AEO) Jakh, sub-division Samba.
According to details, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba had issued directions to all the officials and employees of various government departments to hoist national flag over all government buildings following the protocol as per the provisions of Flag Code of India. Acting on theese directions, the Agriculture Extension Officer Vijay Sharma along with Assistant Extension Assistants (AEAs) Rohit Mahajan, Tarun Gupta, Varinder Sharma, Mukesh Verma and others hoisted the tricolor. National anthem was also sung on the occasion by the employees and officials.
