SAMBA, Apr 2: Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 140 gms of Charas from his possession at SIDCO Chowk, NHW Samba.
A Police Party of PS Samba during surprise checking at NHW, SIDCO Chowk Samba intercepted a pedestrian who was moving under suspicious circumstances and heading towards Samba.
During frisking of the said person, a total 140 gms of charas was recovered from his possession. The accused person identified as Daya Ram resident of Samba has been arrested on the spot and a contraband item was also seized.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 103/2021 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Samba and investigation is started. |
