Ramban students sensitized about Covid containment measures
ISM teams distribute immunity boosters

RAMBAN, Apr 2: Department of Indian System of Medicine today sensitized the students of Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban regarding preventive measures for containing the spread of Covid infection in wake of the second wave of the coronavirus.
The Department also distributed immunity booster medicines among the students and the staff members.
AYUSH expert, Dr. Masood Zargar, gave a detailed briefing on the importance of strong immunity in fighting against COVID-19 and other various important health aspects related to the deadly disease. He was informed about the initiatives and measures undertaken by the ISM, AYUSH to contain and prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. He also urged the students to make people aware about the importance of Covid vaccination which is being administered to people above the age of 45 years in all CVC centres across the district.
They experts laid stress on inculcating exercise, yoga and other healthy practices in day-to-day life, besides adopting a behaviour change to protect oneself not only from COVID-19 but also from other diseases to lead a healthy life.
Meanwhile, I/C Principal, Ranjay Kumar, interacted with the students and advised them to follow all the preventive measures to protect themselves and their families from the spread of COVID-19.
He also thanked the ISM team for conducting the camp to spread awareness about the importance of immunity boosters in view of the prevailing pandemic situation.
