DC Doda reviews status of Covid Vaccination, Testing
Constitutes district, sub-division and block level committees to gear up inoculation

DODA, Apr 3: Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today constituted district, subdivision and block level committees to gear up age appropriate Covid vaccination in the district.
Chairing a meeting of the concerned Officers of health department and he took first hand appraisal of the ongoing Covid vaccination and RTPCR testing in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, District immunization officer, Medical Superintendent, Associated Hospital GMC Doda, besides other officials of the concerned department.
The DC reviewed the current testing status and directed the concerned to increase the testing by laying special focus on RTPCR testing. While reviewing the vaccination drive, it was apprised a total of 19 vaccination sites have been identified across the district to conduct the vaccination to the beneficiaries on scheduled days.
Meanwhile, the DC constituted committees at district, Sub- division and block level for vaccination of all the persons above 45 years of age.
It was further directed that vaccination of PRIs, Revenue employees, ULB employees, ICDS employees and other grass root level workers be increased to achieve their 100% vaccination.
The DC asked the concerned to mobilise the ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and sought the help of PRI members and religious heads to scale up the vaccination drive.
