AKHNOOR, Apr 3: To address the public grievances, Member DDC Maira Mandrain, Pt Suresh Sharma held janta darbar in Chowki Choura and Juthal Bal Saroh Panchayats of Chowki Choura Block.
He paid patient attention to every aggrieved and redressed their concerns. People put forth demands for Road infrastructure, staff in institutions, electricity poles, water supply schemes, flood related issues etc.
He said,"I have consistently held Janta Darbars for serving people at their door steps. You put responsibility on my shoulders and I will perform it with utter sincerity, To overcome water scarcity in Chowki Choura, new water supply scheme worth Rs 7.59 crore under National Rural Drinking water programme will be ready by Oct-Nov while under Jal Jeevan Mission Turgla water supply scheme worth rupees 3.44 crore will be ready shortly".
He added, "Demand for Juthal to Thorni Road,Basawa Kanah Road,Salodi road and other link roads will be addressed soon. Adequate basic facilities to every village is priority for me"
Pt Suresh Sharma was accompanied by Tehsildar Chowki Choura, BDO Chowki Choura, Senior leader Bahrat Bhushan Gupta, senior leader Ashok Mishra, Mandal Pradhan Capt.BD Sharma, Sarpanch Ravi Kumar, Sarpanch Baldev Raj, Naib Sarpachs, Panchs, Youth leader Rakesh Kumar, AEEs PDD, PHE, PWD, PMGSY, ZEO, CDPO, TSO, Range Officer and other sectoral officers of various departments. |
