JAMMU, Apr 10: GDC pouni has been organizing a series of events under the inititative of 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India's Independence. On this occasion, a Musshariah cum poetry Competition was organized and conducted under the guidance of Prof. Rajni, Principal GDC Pouni and under the convenorship of Prof. Jaspal Singh. About 20 students of the college participated in this Competition. Students from Departments of English, Dogri , Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu in all different languages expressed their Ideas in the form of Shyaari , Songs and poetry on the theme 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav'. In this event Prof. Jaspal Singh, Assistant Professor of Punjabi also expressed his own works on Shyaari.Others faculty members also presented in the event viz., Prof. Balbir Kumar, Dr Liyaquat Bashir, Prof. Sapna Sharma, Prof. Bindu Sharma Prof. Harjinder Singh, Prof. Rajnish Kumar and Prof. Manshad Begum.
