4/11/2021 12:14:18 AM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 10: Panthers Trade Union (PTU) held a massive protest against the JDA for deteriorating condition of the roads in Transport Nagar Narwal, Jammu.
Leading the protesters, Neeraj Dewan, General Secretary PTU, said that on one hand govt is talking about making Jammu a Smart City and on the other hand the people are deprived of having the basic facilities of life. We have to pay road tax, we have to pay toll tax, but we don't have roads to walk. Traffic Jams and huge pits on the roads and damaged roads add to the miseries of the common man. He further added that these damaged roads cause the accidents which indirectly claim the lives of innocent people. He urged to Lt. Governor that immediate steps should be taken for the sake of common man.
On this occasion Dewan was accompanied by Jagdish Singh (District President-PTU), Deldar Singh, Romesh Chander, Amar Chand, Romesh Kumar, Avtar Singh, Alam Din besides others.
