DC Kishtwar reviews preparations for Teeka Utsav' starting from April 11
Asks to follow Test, Track, Treat policy

KISHTWAR, Apr 10: District administration Kishtwar is holding Teeka Utsav from April 11, 2021 to effectively manage and contain the increasing COVID cases in the district through rapid inoculation and RTPCR testing.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma today chaired a meeting of concerned officers here at Conference Hall DC office Complex Mini secretariat
The meeting was apprised by the medical superintendent, District Hospital that 50 vaccination centres have been established and the cluster-wise vaccination mela was being organised from 11th April to 14 April 2021 across the district to vaccinate all the persons above 45 years of age. The inoculation is being held in the health department in cooperation and coordination with other line departments. Deputy Commissioner announced the constitution of block level teams with composition of concerned Tehsildar and BDO among others.
Tehsildars were directed to supervise the functioning of these block level teams and submit the daily progress in this context.
The ADC was asked to ensure that all check points/ Nakkas set up to test the travelers function properly. In view of surge in COVID cases among the workers of upcoming Hydro-electric power projects, the District Administration has decided to increase the testing to isolate the infected individuals, the meeting was told.
Furthermore CISF, CRPF, NHPC and CVPP authorities were also asked to conduct RTPCR tests and vaccinations of their staff by following the policy of test, track and treat as envisaged by PM, Narendra Modi.
Suggestions from the district officers, regarding the effective implementation of the vaccination were also sought in the meeting.
