Army conducting 12 day recruitment rallies in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Apr 13: The Army will conduct 12 days recruitment rallies to appoint soldiers for different categories next months in the Kashmir valley, a defence ministry spokesman said.
He said as per the information of Army Recruiting Office (ARO), Srinagar, a recruitment rally for different posts shall be conducted at Helipad Ground, Sonawari in Bandipora in north Kashmir from May-17 to May-28, 2021.
During the rallies, recruitment shall be held for Srinagar, Bandipora, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Budgam, Pupwama, Shopian, Anantnag and Kulgam districts for all categories including Soldier General Duty(GD), Soldier Tradesman (class 8th and class 10th), Soldier, Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, Inventory Management (CLK/SKT/IM), Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant and Nursing Assistant Veterinary.
All eligible candidates can register and apply online at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Registration has been opened from April 2, 2021 and will continue till May Ist, 2021.
Hundreds of Kashmir youths have joined Army and other Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) during the past about a decade.
