Selection list of Account Assistants delayed without any reason
BJP’s another gift to unemployed youth
4/13/2021 11:40:38 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 13: Inordinate delay in release of the selection list of account assistants is a clear indication that those at the helm of the affairs are intentionally torturing unemployed youth of J&K.
After conducting a written test, Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) had declared the result of the same on December 26, 2020 with a cut-out.
Even after passing over three months, no progress has been made to issue a selection list despite the fact that it was clearly mentioned in the notification that selection will be made only on the basis of written test.
The JKSSB had conducted a written examination for the post of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) on November 10.
The candidates who qualify in the JKSSB Accounts Assistant exam will be appointed for District Cadre Posts of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) in Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
On July 10, 2020 JKSSB had issued notification regarding recruitment of 1889 posts of Account Assistant. Of these total posts, 951 were for Kashmir province and 938 for Jammu province.
As first recruitment notice was issued after abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, it was mentioned in the notice that the candidate should be a ‘Domicile’ of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir in accordance with Notifications issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India vide S.O 1229 (E) dated 31-03-2020 and the General Administration Department, Government of J&K vide S.O 166 dated 18-05-2020 respectively.
The candidate must possess the Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before the date, as shall be fixed for Document Verification by the Services Selection Board.
Candidates who have qualified written test are blaming BJP leadership for inordinate delay in release of selection list.
