J&K reports 1269 new positive cases, three deaths

JAMMU, Apr 13: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 1269 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (582 from Jammu division and 687 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 140650.
Also three deaths have been reported, 02 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 493 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 101 from Jammu Division and 392 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 140650 positive cases, 8681 are Active Positive, 129932 have recovered and 2037 have died; 754 in Jammu division and 1283 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 6573965 test results available, 6433315 samples have been tested as negative till April 13.
Till date 1626156 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 65250 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 8681 in isolation and 131328 in home surveillance.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 32638 positive cases (including 423 cases reported today) with 3080 Active Positive, 29078 recovered (including 176 cases recovered today), 480 deaths; Baramulla has 9895 positive cases (including 98 cases reported today) with 819 Active Positive, 8893 recovered (including 84 cases recovered today), 183 deaths; Budgam reported 8678 positive cases (including 42 cases reported today) with 378 active positive cases, 8177 recovered (including 40 cases recovered today), 123 deaths; Pulwama has 6167 positive cases (including 28 cases reported today) with 198 Active Positive, 5877 recovered (including 23 cases recovered today) and 92 deaths; Kupwara has 6057 positive cases (including 24 cases reported today), 218 Active Positive, 5741 recoveries (including 18 cases recovered today), 98 deaths; Anantnag district has 5439 positive cases (including 29 cases reported today) with 226 Active Positive, 5114 recovered (including 13 cases recovered today), 99 deaths; Bandipora has 4901 positive cases (including 12 cases reported today), with 127 Active Positive, 4711 recoveries and 63 deaths; Ganderbal has 4825 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today) with 95 Active Positive, 4681 recoveries and 49 deaths; Kulgam has 3040 positive cases (including 09 cases reported today) with 196 Active Positive, 2788 recoveries (including 38 cases recovered today) and 56 deaths while as Shopian has 2726 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today), 77 active positive cases, 2609 recoveries and 40 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has 27589 positive cases (including 191 cases reported today) with 1715 active positive cases, 25482 recoveries (including 57 cases recovered today), 392 deaths; Udhampur has 5016 positive cases (including 265 cases reported today), 645 active positive cases, 4313 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 58 deaths; Rajouri has 3970 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today) with 77 active positive, 3837 recoveries (including 01 case recovered today) and 56 deaths; Doda has 3503 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 44 Active positive, 3395 recovered (including 03 cases recovered today) and 64 deaths; Kathua has 3587 positive cases (including 26 cases reported today), 187 active positive cases, 3347 recovered and 53 deaths; Kishtwar has 2787 positive cases with 31 Active Positive, 2734 recoveries and 22 deaths; Samba has 2954 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today) with 93 active positive cases, 2818 recoveries and 43 deaths; Poonch has 2589 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 43 active positive, 2514 recoveries (including 01 case recovered today) and 27 deaths; Ramban has 2181 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 19 active positive cases, 2139 recoveries and 23 deaths while as Reasi has 2108 positive (including 62 cases reported today) with 413 active positive cases, 1679 recoveries (including 35 cases recovered today) and 16 deaths.
