Environmental awareness Programme conducted

JAMMU, Apr 17: Nations Development Association (NDA) in collaboration with Government Nursing College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu here today organized "Environmental Awareness Programme"' at Government Nursing College Gandhi Nagar. Principal of Nursing college Prof. Indra Moza was the Chief guest while. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak (Executive Editor),. Sohail Kazmi (Senior Journalist),. Surinder Devgodha (Retired Executive Engineer),were guests of honour while Sushil Singh Charak Chairman Nations Development Association NDA was Organizer of Environmental awareness Programme.
Various projects had been presented by the B.Sc. Nursing students on noise pollution, air pollution and water pollution and also students emphasized the importance of pollution free environment. Besides the projects were focussed on expressing the havoc wreaked by the human on the environment and reversing the degradation of the environmental system through plantation, techniques of water preservation and use of noise free vehicles. The students forwarded the message through the medium of rangoli and debate competition was organised on the Environmental awareness programme. Lastly Principal of Nursing college Prof. Indra Moza who was the Chief Guest of the Occasion forwarded the message of "Save the Planet, lifting people out of poverty". The quality of the environment can be improved by whole hearted participation of mass public and the initiative has to be adopted and implemented at the grass root level in order to curb the menace of environmental pollution.
