DC Jammu reviews progress of writing Jamabandis
Also reviews distribution of health cards under Ayushman Bharat Scheme

JAMMU, Apr 17: To review the progress of Jamabandi writing in the District, Deputy Commissioner, Anshul Garg today chaired a meeting of all revenue officers and field functionaries, here at Conference Hall DC Office Complex.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (Law and Order) Ghansham Singh; Additional Deputy Commissioner (Adm) Satish Kumar Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vijay Kumar Sharma; Tehsildars, Naib-Tehsildars, Patwaris besides other functionaries of Revenue department were present in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed detailed progress of documents including writing of pending Jamabandies, status of mutations etc.
While reviewing the progress of Jamabandies, the DC directed the concerned to complete the task within the given timeline. He emphasized on speedy updation of Jamabandies, scanning and quality check of revenue records as per the targets.
He set April 30, 2021 as the deadline for completing the pending jamabandis. He exhorted upon the officers and field functionaries to work as a team to serve the public better. He also directed the officers to submit tehsil-wise report as per the set timeline.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the progress of distribution of health cards under Ayushman Bharat Yojna PM-JAY Sehat scheme. He directed the concerned officers to ensure 100% registration and universal distribution of the approved health cards.
