Jammu, Apr 20: The managing committee and sangat of Gurudwara Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji, Janipur have elected S. Ravinder Singh as Chairman as the post was lying vacant since long.
A meeting was conducted by the members of the managing committee and Sikh Sangat at Gurudwara Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji to elect a Chairman of the managing committee as the post was lying vacant since long after death of previous chairman S. Surinder Singh Saini.
The members and the Sikh Sangat unanimously decided the name of S. Ravinder Singh as the new chairman of the managing committee of the Gurudwara Sahib.
S. Ravinder Singh while speaking on the occasion expressed his gratitude towards the members of the managing committee and the Sikh Sangat for posing faith in him and electing him unopposed as chairman. He assured the Sikh Sangat and the members of the managing committee that he will try his level best to ensure smooth functioning of the routine affairs of the Gurudwara Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji. He also sought the blessings of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji in meeting out the wishes of the Sangat.
Those present on the occasion include S. Punjab Singh Vice President, S.Waryam Singh Secretary, S. Swran Singh Cashier, S.Sarbjeet Singh Member Committee and S.Gurnam Singh.
