Ramban administration intensifies SEHAT registration at Panchayat level

RAMBAN, Apr 26: District administration Ramban has intensified registration under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), SEHAT to achieve 100% target within prescribed time.
After registering for SEHAT Health Insurance Scheme, the citizens of UT of Jammu and Kashmir they will get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in any hospital of the country registered under Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana,. The District Administration in cooperation with PRIs also sensitized people to get themselves registered under SEHAT to take benefit from this beneficiary orientated scheme. The Administration has also mobilized ASHA and Anganwari workers to make people aware about the benefits of the scheme besides providing them assistance in the registration process. The District Manager, Common Service Centres, Mohsin Beig informed that registration of beneficiaries under SEHAT is going on in 130 Panchayats of the district and after registration E-cards will be provided to all beneficiaries. He said over 5000 registrations have been made by the CSC staff in the district since April 19.
