Jammu, May 1: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) Organized "e-Dogri Lok Sangeet Sabha" on its digital platform . Well known Potess Sudershan Kumari "Darshi" presided over whereas Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS and renowned poet andMusic Composer conducted the programme . He critically evaluated each folk geet presented and offered his comments as well.
Capt Lalit Sharma Convener and Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila President NDS organised and supervised the programme .
The Folk Singers who Participated were Ram Paul Dogra, Sudershan Kumari Darshi, Neelam Sharma, Rakshita Khajuria of Army Public School Miran Sahib Gurjeet Kour of Army Public School Miran Sahib Des Raj, Savita Sharma Jasleen Kour of Army Public School Miran Sahib Sulinder Kumar and Radhika Raina of Army Public School Miran Sahib.
Those who watched and appreciated were Prof.Anupama Sharma Patron Youth Wing NDS, Rohit Choudhary, Tarsem Mahajan, Nidhi Kaila Choudhary, Sanjeev Sharma, Dr.Chanchal Sharma, R.K.Uppal, Group Captain Dupinder Singh, Wing Commander Dr.Deepak C Dogra and Prof. Adarsh Malhotra .
Sudershan Kumari "Darshi" hailed the quality programme and said that it is very relevant in this ongoing era of pandemic. She observed that dogri Folk Music is our treasure and spot lights our social order , social thought and ethnic perceptions and is always soothing , mesmerizing and melodious . She complimented and lauded NDS for organising such soulful programmes.
