Covid Control: DC Udhampur orders strict adherence to stipulation for marriage functions

UDHAMPUR, May 1: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Indu Kanwal Chib today ordered the enforcement teams to ensure strict adherence to stipulation for marriage functions and Marriage Halls.
“It is the responsibility of both the owner of banquet/marriage halls and the family hosting the marriage to adhere to the stipulation with regard to gathering limit and maintenance of hygiene,” she said The DC asked concerned authorities to ask the owners of Private Banquet Halls to strictly follow government directives on gathering protocols in functions and marriages and violation, if any shall invite penal action without any further warning.
The DC further ordered installation of CCTV cameras and maintaining of video record of gathering by the owners of Hotel/ banquet halls.
In this regard, the DC informed that District Administration has constituted a team of officers for monitoring the implementation of these guidelines.
The DC sought cooperation from all stakeholders for strengthening the efforts of the district administration to contain the spread of Corona Virus infection in the district.
