Anantnag, May 1: Militants fired upon Police party, which was enforcing COVID19 Lockdown, in Lazibal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district here on Saturday evening.
SSP Anantnag, Imtiyaz Ahmad told Early Times that militants fired upon Police party in which one cop identified as Ghulam Muhammad recieved gazing injury and was discharged after first aid.
“Today at 1820 hours while Police party was getting closed for shift to be replaced by another party for Covid Lockdown duty near Lazibal Anantnag, terrorists opened fire on police party with pistol. One Policeman Ghulam Mohammad received minor injuries,” he texted
The officer further said that the attack was retailed and area was cordoned off to nab the attackers |
