Ensure regular drinking water supply in TRT Camp Nagrota: Pandita urges PHE

JAMMU, May 2: Prominent persons of Migrant camp TRT, Nagrota Jammu under the leadership of Ashok Kumar Koul today brought into the knowledge of Vinod Pandita State Coordinator Displaced Kashmiri Pandits, Jammu Province about the scarcity of regular supply of pure drinking water in the camp and with the result the residents are facing huge problems on this count. He said that life has become quite difficult for them in this tough time of Covid-19 pandemic without this basic need of life and has also appealed for providing regular supply of water in the camp. Vinod Pandita in a statement issued today has said that the problem listed by the residents about the scarcity of usual drinking water in migrant camp TRT, Nagrota is quite genuine and deserves immediate attention for resolving this pertinent issue.
Pandita assured the residents that he will take up the matter with concerned forthwith and appealed District administration and Chief Engineer PHE Jammu to take immediate necessary measures for ensuring regular supply of pure drinking water in the camp keeping in view Covid-19 pandemic threat that is looming large.
