Pancheri , May 12: In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic , Sanjeev Singh secretary Global Human Rights Trust and President Ekal Abhiyan Anchal Panchari with self hygiene and keeping proper social distance, distributed free homemade masks to needy people and told them to maintain social distance due to coronavirus as a precautionary measure and aware them the use of hand sanitizer when & how, during house to house verification / mopping up of COVID-19 positive / suspect cases in Panchari.
We have started handwash reminder door to door and told them to cover your mouth properly while coughing & sneezing.
Wash hands with soap frequently. Avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth. Avoid close contact with anyone with cough, fever or difficulty in breathing," Secretary GHRT cum BLO said during awareness programme door to door.
"Isolation will be better for people and lockdown is an amazing step. The government has done an amazing job and it is also a social responsibility of locals to identify the outsiders.
Darshna Devi Asha Worker & Bimla Devi AWW said, "We should take precautions, so that novel corona-virus (COVID-19 pandemic) will not spread and we all have to take strong decisions for betterment of our lives. We should cooperate with the government as well and should not get panicky or pay heed to rumours."
