‘Stop entry and visit of leaders in GMC, other hospitals as it hinders working of medical staff ‘
5/16/2021 11:11:35 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 16: Citizen's Forum has requested LG Manoj Sinha to stop entry and visit of leaders in the GMC and other hospitals as it hinders the working of medical staff who are already burdened. They contribute nothing except their political fanfare.
R K Chadha president Citizen's forum said for the last 92 days since vaccination started J&K UT has administered only 5.64 lakh inoculations of single dose with some in double dose in Jammu region. Just imagine it will take minimum 3 years to vaccinate a population of 60 lakhs with double dose for Jammu region only.
The slow down vaccination of covid -19 is due to shortage of vaccines in UT as it received only 86000 doses on 1st May 2021 for entire J&K UT. From 56000 per day vaccination it has come down to 10000 Vax per day only. Arrange sufficient vaccine by importing directly from other countries. We have faith in you that you will not turn J&K UT in to UP Covid conditions.
Have contact with Dr. Reddy's company who have imported Russia's Sputnik V covid -19 vaccine and priced at Rs.948+ 5% GST per dose , started selling and administering from today. People who can afford should be given this facility and save their lives
