Rajouri Police holds meetings with PRIs, spreads awareness about COVID SOPs

RAJOURI, May 16: On account of increasing cases of COVID-19 in District Rajouri and extension of lockdown, various Police Stations and Police Posts across the District held meetings with members of several Panchayats today. The meetings were held with proper social distancing and as per existing COVID protocol.
PS Manjakote held meetings with Panchayat members in the areas of Derhi Dahra, Kalali, Dabrote and Gambir Muglan.
In PS Thanamandi, meetings were held with prominent citizens of Rajdhani and panchayat members of Khablan Ward No 1.
In PS Kandi, a meeting was held with Panchayat members of Jaglanu, Kotranka and Swari. In the area of PS Dharamsal, a meeting was held with Panchayat members of Siot Lower and Upper. Similar meetings were also held in Ward 9 and 11 of PP City, Treru Moghla and Sarooti of PP Treyath, Lamberi, Peeri, Bhawani and Khambah. The members of Panchayats and other respectable citizens were briefed about the status of cases in the District. They were advised to convey this message to the public that the best way to contain the spread of this infection is to minimize movement and socializing.
They were also briefed about the extension in Covid Curfew and their cooperation was solicited in ensuring that Covid SOPs and protocols are conveyed to each and every household for better compliance.
