RMPS celebrates World Armed Day

Jammu, May 17: In keeping with the tradition of commemorating to honour the soldiers, airmen and sailors of our country, RMPS conducted an online inter school competition for class 6th students under the supervision of incharge Gurpreet Kour and coordinator Suman Choudhary on the occasion of World Armed Day.
It was celebrated in remembrance of the armed forces that valiantly defend our borders to safeguard our freedom. The objective of the program was to make students aware of the importance of the Armed Forces in our lives. The students enlightened everyone with the significance of the day through thought-sensational dances for maintaining peace in our nation.
Sahibdeep Singh and Harshit Mahajan from SNGN as well as Sneha Sharma and Damanpreet of SNJN were the guest participants. Jivika Tuli and Ananya Sharma represented RMPS in the competition. Varun dance teacher was the main guest and judge of the competition.
Jivika Tuli from RMPS emerged as the winner of the competition while Ananya Sharma from RMPS bagged the 2nd and Damanpreet from SNJN bagged 3rd prize respectively. At the end Director of the school Rakshan Mengi admired the students. He also advised them to remember the sacrifices of Indian Army. The Principal of the school, Shuchita Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students for paying tribute to the Armed forces.
