Div Com visits Ramban; inspects progress of work on Yatri Niwas at Chanderkote

RAMBAN, May 18: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr. Raghav Langer today conducted an extensive tour of district Ramban and inspected the progress of work on the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) Yatri Niwas, here at Chanderkote.
The Div Com was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam; SSP, PD Nitya; ADC, Harbans Lal; AC, Dhirender Sharma besides Engineers of CPWD, JPDCL, Jal Shakti and other concerned.
Pertinently, the Yatri Niwas complex will consist of 18 dormitories with a bed capacity of over 3800. It will provide shelter to the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. The Engineers of CPWD apprised the Div Com about the work completed so far and also shared the future work plan.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of progress on the prestigious project and complete the work within the stipulated time frame.
He also reviewed the water and power supply to the complex and instructed the Engineers of Jal Shakti and JPDCL to work in coordination and ensure uninterrupted water and power supply to the complex.
