| NDS demands fair probe into demise of Presentation Convent School teacher | | |

JAMMU, May 18: The Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) Jammu in a condolence meeting held today to mourn untimely and tragic death of Madam Neelu Varinder, music teacher of Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar Jammu due to Covid-19 a couple of days back. The President NDS Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila appreciated the enquiry initiated by DC Jammu and registration of FIR against the administration of the school.
However it was apprehended that while holding the administrative posts a fair enquiry is not possible against those very persons who are holding such posts.
It was demanded that the Worthy Deputy Commissioner should appoint a receiver for the school till a fair and transparent enquiry is conducted to bring the truth before one and all.
The NDS also demanded for compensation to the bereaved family of the deceased teacher. A humble request was made to the concerned authorities to complete the enquiry at an earliest.
A two minute silence was observed during the condolence meet in respect to the departed soul. |
