GDC Kalakote launches digital drive on COVID-19 awareness

JAMMU, May 25: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Kalakote under the convenership of Dr Shezad Ahmed had launched a ‘Digital Drive’ to create awareness about Covid-19 among people, through social networking sites like facebook, twitter and instagram. In this campaign many social volunteers participated through pamphlets and videos.
In this campaign many NSS volunteers have written their slogans and also indicated some symbols that might help the people to come out from stereo-type and depression. They also covered how to deal, COVID positive patient at right time. This programme was made successful under the able guidance of Principal Prof (Dr) Romesh Kr. Gupta who appraised entire staffs and social volunteers for their active participation in this programme.
At last Dr. Gupta acknowledged the efforts of the organizing committee and congratulated them for keeping students engaged in such activities in this time of pandemic. To, conclude the programme, Dr. Shezad appreciated the students for their participation and said that though this pandemic has made us face toughest of the time, but it has also made us realize how we as humans are supposed to behave as during lockdown our environment started healing giving us a message that how badly we have been treating it.
