Jammu, May 25: National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of GGM Science College participated with full zeal and commitment in The Young Warrior Movement; A joint initiative of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, YUWAAH-UNICEF. To engage five million young generation to lead as young warriors against Covid 19 in various awareness programs related to VACCINATION, Development of knowledge hub, to bust the fake news and myths related to Covid 19 virus.
More than 500 registered including NSS volunteers and students of the college. The NSS volunteers took pledge using various social media platforms like twitter, Instagram and facebook using hastag I am a # youngwarrior and tagging their other friends to make them also the young warrior hence spreading the message.
The whole event was coordinated under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan. NSS volunteers collectively made online Knowledge Hub: Awareness to Corona busting myths and awaring people about the virus, disease, symptoms, testing, isolation, medication, healthy life style, meditation, yoga and vaccination. Let's fight together with knowledge and awareness in this pandemic. |
