Nagrota, May 25: GDC Nagrota organized a Webinar on 25th of May, 2021 on the theme “Heritage of Jammu” as part of “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav”. In this event Dr. Tarsem Lal, H.O.D Geography, welcomed the audience and briefed them about the Heritage of Jammu. Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal, Principal GDC Nagrota, while speaking on the occasion, emphasized the importance of heritage and the role it plays in preserving the culture of the society. Mr. Dinesh Singh Chib, Assistant professor and H.O.D Education, was the resource person of the webinar, and he apprised the students about the various heritage sites of Jammu. He also discussed the architecture style of the various Historic sites of Jammu, like Amar Mahal Palace, Mubarak Mandi Palace, Akhnoor Fort and Ambaran. Students participated quite enthusiastically in the program. The Webinar came to an end with a vote of thanks by Dr. Tarsem Lal.
