JMC’s vaccination drive for shopkeepers begins today

JAMMU, May 25: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is launching COVID-19 Vaccination Drive from tomorrow for the priority group comprising of shopkeepers of all categories, shopkeepers’ Helpers and Street Vendors including Milkmen and Plumbers of various markets.
This was informed by Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta in presence of Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma and Commissioner, JMC, Avny Lavasa while addressing a press conference here today at Town Hall Complex.
Mayor said that to begin with, the vaccination will be done on five (5) identified locations which include Urban Health Post, Talab Khatikan, Primary Health Center, Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, Primary Health Center, Shastri Nagar, Day Care Center, Roop Nagar Jammu and Urban Health Center, Mubarak Mandi (Dewan Badri Nath School)
Dr Sanjogita Soodan, Health Officer, JMC (Mobile Number: 9419199070) will be the Nodal Officer for this drive, he added.
Mayor further said that the detailed schedule will be shared with all through Print and electronic Media and through social Media platforms for widespread participation of the targeted priority group in the age group (18-45).
Market Associations will be actively involved in this drive so as to ensure maximum coverage of Identified Priority Group, he added.
