| SSP reviews working of Women Cell Reasi | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, May 25: To make police more accessible and ‘woman-sensitive’, SSP Reasi Shailender Singh conducted a review meeting of Women Cell of Police Station Reasi. Meeting was attended by DySP Hqrs Reasi, Incharge Women Cell SI Vijay Kumari along with other officers and officials of Women Cell Reasi.
During the meeting all case FIR as well as complainants were reviewed. Sub Inspector incharge of the cell was directed for time bound disposal of complaints. She was also directed to reach out to the women in distress and redress their complaints on fast track. Inspector is further directed to make effective use of women help desk inaugurated recently to resolve the issues faced by women on day to day basis. SSP Reasi also mentioned necessary training, Orientation, Sensitization of the staff deployed at Women Cell will be the priority of Reasi Police. It will be a helping hand for the women in need and definitely help to curb crime against women in the area.
